Twelve million dogs currently housed in shelters worldwide are waiting for a forever home. Guided by its brand mission “Every dog deserves a loving home,” global pet food brand Pedigree harnessed AI technology and its global reach to facilitate shelter dog adoptions on a scale previously thought impossible. Adoptable used customized AI technology to reposition the dogs into various poses suitable for any media format and deployed the assets across all types of digital advertising. The platform also leverages geo-targeting and first-party data to match each dog with the most suitable location and home, maximizing both the dogs’ exposure and adoption outcomes. As a result, Adoptable not only promoted Pedigree’s products but also contributed to a significant rise in adoption rates. In New Zealand, where the campaign was first launched, it delivered tangible results: 50% of featured shelter dogs were adopted within the first two weeks, and traffic to the shelter site increased sixfold.
