Visiongram, developed by Dentsu, is an innovative tool that enables sighted individuals to gain firsthand experience of how visually impaired people perceive the world—and to share that experience with others. Visiongram leverages digital simulation, VR, AR, and other technologies to allow users to experience the various limitations faced by individuals with visual  impairments. It also enables users to document and share their experience through photos, videos, or messages. The award-winning work was lauded for fostering genuine empathy and understanding of disability—not merely conveying information or eliciting sympathy—and for advancing social awareness. It has been integrated into experience programs at schools, corporations, and public institutions across Japan, helping to cultivate a more inclusive culture and drive meaningful change.
