This year, American pickup truck brand Ram launched a Super Bowl ad inspired by the classical tale “Goldilocks and the Three Bears.” The commercial features actor Glen Powell alongside his real-life cousins, narrating a modernized version of the story. In this reimagined story, Powell embarks on an adventure in three different new Ram trucks. The fast-paced ad showcases thrilling scenes of them slaying a dragon, jumping across a volcano, and facing off against bears driving trucks. After airing a 60-second version during the Super Bowl broadcast, the brand released an extended 90-second cut on YouTube, which quickly went viral, surpassing 20 million views. As part of the campaign, Ram Trucks’ official website is also selling a clever lineup of merchandise inspired by the ad, including dragon and bear plush toys, blankets, T-shirts, hoodies, and even a dragon hot wing sauce.
